Albergo Casalta is located in the heart of Strove, nestled in the Elsa countryside, a small village of Longobard origin which later became a passage-way for the pilgrims of Frankish Road. The fortress houses which still characterise it were built on the ruins of Strove Castle which was razed to the ground in 1300.

The hotel offers 11 comfortable guest rooms, all furnished in traditional Tuscany style with antique furniture which reflects the simplicity and sobriety of the life style of days gone by. The hotel restaurant offers a generous choice of traditional, local dishes accompanied with wines from the hotel\'s wine cellar.
